John 10:11

Jesus is Coming Soon ... Are You Ready?

If you haven't gotten to know Jesus yet - NOW is the time. Before you click away, consider this - Knowing Jesus means caring for the poor, respecting God's creation, and knowing spiritual truth. Jesus encourages us to love one another, not be greedy, honor God and treat people with respect - who doesn't want to do that? Are you already doing that? Great - then you definitely want to know Jesus, because He came to save you for eternity.

Mark 6:12

“And they went out, and preached that men should repent”

According to Revelation 21:7 you must Repent of:

  • Fearfulness (deilos) timid
  • Unbelieving (apistos) without Christian faith, or untrustworthy
  • Abominations (bdelusso) disgusting, detestable
  • Murders (phoneus) deliberate intentional homicide
  • Whoremongering (pornos) debauchery, fornication
  • Sorcery (pharmakeus) a poisoner or magician
  • Idolatry (eidololatres) worshipper an image, idolater
  • Lying (psudes) untruth, deceit, wickedness, falsehood

Instead, we need to do what pleases God:

Fear God

(phobes) be in awe of, revere God obey his commandments, statutes. Know his laws

Love God

Matthew 22:37-40
Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. On these two commandments hang all the law

Accept Jesus of Nazareth as the only begotten son of God and your Savior

John 14:16
“Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me

Mark 11:26
But if ye do not forgive, neither will your Father which is in heaven forgive your trespasses.

Ask to be Forgiven

Matthew 6:9-13
After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.”

Bear Fruit

Luke 3 8:11
“Bring forth therefore fruits worthy of repentance, and begin not to say within yourselves, We have Abraham to our father: for I say unto you, That God is able of these stones to raise up children unto Abraham. And now also the axe is laid unto the root of the trees: every tree therefore which bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire. And the people asked him, saying, What shall we do then? He answereth and saith unto them, He that hath two coats, let him impart to him that hath none; and he that hath meat, let him do likewise.”

When under attack read the word of God yourself. Let it and the Holy Spirit be your guide, not the Fruit Inspectors for Jesus that may surround you like Job's friends did. They may have good but misguided intentions or they may part of “insurrection of the wicked” sent to sabotage you. Does that sound unbelievable? Well it's not to God, his prophets, and his only begotten son Jesus.

Take Heed and Beware

Psalm 64
Hear my voice, O God, in my prayer: preserve my life from fear of the enemy. 2 Hide me from the secret counsel of the wicked; from the insurrection of the workers of iniquity: 3 Who whet their tongue like a sword, and bend their bows to shoot their arrows, even bitter words: 4 That they may shoot in secret at the perfect: suddenly do they shoot at him, and fear not. 5 They encourage themselves in an evil matter: they commune of laying snares privily; they say, Who shall see them? 6 They search out iniquities; they accomplish a diligent search: both the inward thought of every one of them, and the heart, is deep. 7 But God shall shoot at them with an arrow; suddenly shall they be wounded. 8 So they shall make their own tongue to fall upon themselves: all that see them shall flee away. 9And all men shall fear, and shall declare the work of God; for they shall wisely consider of his doing. 10 The righteous shall be glad in the Lord, and shall trust in him; and all the upright in heart shall glory.”

Jeremiah 9 4-6
“Take ye heed every one of his neighbour, and trust ye not in any brother: for every brother will utterly supplant, and every neighbour will walk with slanders. *And they will deceive every one his neighbour, and will not speak the truth: they have taught their tongue to speak lies, and weary themselves to commit iniquity. *Thine habitation is in the midst of deceit; through deceit they refuse to know me, saith the Lord.”

Mathew 10 16-17
Behold, I send you forth as sheep in the midst of wolves: be ye therefore wise as serpents, and harmless as doves.  But beware of men: for they will deliver you up to the councils, and they will scourge you in their synagogues;
